The polished glass surfaces for your television and favoured appliances really do look good and are complimented well by the chrome supports. With enough space for large televisions, and plenty of room for different devices, no matter what type of television you have you should consider this glass stand.
Purchasing an LCD TV stand that features quite so much glass may be a worry when considering home delivery. Fortunately the shelves are made from toughened safety glass of 8mm on the top shelf, and 6mm on the middle and bottom two which helps to minimise the risk of breaking. Obviously accidents can happen in transit, so if the box in which your product is delivered looks in any way damaged make sure you take photos. They’ll help if the worst should happen and you need to have parts of your new stand replaced.
One advantage that this Levv TV stand holds over many of its rivals, other than its incredible affordability, is the width of the middle and bottom shelves. If your entertainment corner is stuffed to the brim with games consoles, Blu-ray and DVD players and more then you’d be happy to hear that this unit is wide enough for appliances to fit side by side. Or so it seems… Unfortunately because the corners at the back of the unit are quite dramatically cut off you are likely to find that two big devices placed side by side will overhang at the back. Not necessarily a problem but could be something of an eyesore.
An inbuilt cable tidy system will help you to keep your wires organised once the TV stand is assembled. Though unfortunately getting to that point might be easier said than done. The instructions included within the box you will receive are far from helpful, featuring just a picture with an assortment of arrows pointing to the places where pieces need to be fastened. It won’t be impossible to figure out how to assemble your new stand, but it will take longer than you may expect, even if you are familiar with DIY projects.
On the whole, Levv have created a product that looks and feels fantastic. It’s strong enough to support your treasured television in style, and sleek enough to fit with the majority of home decors. The lacking instructions are the only thing preventing this particular model from receiving the full 5-star rating, however once assembled, you certainly won’t regret your choice.
