With LCD televisions shrinking in width every year it seems a shame to fasten them further from the wall than is necessary. The PLB105M from Allcam provides a solution in the form of a wall mount that allows your television set to sit just one inch away from the wall itself, or one and a half inches if using the included spacers. This is a close enough finish that from the front you would almost believe your TV set had been glued to the wall, rather than fastened to an LCD wall bracket.

This ultra-close proximity to the wall does cause some problems in the form of cables however. If your cables plug into the back of your television set, this LCD flat wall bracket will not be a good solution for you. You will struggle to fit the cables through the gap, let alone actually position them appropriately. If this is a problem then you should consider the Allcam PLB103M as an alternative as it provides more space between the TV and the wall. Assuming the connections for your television are on the side of the set however, the PLB105M Slim will be perfect for fitting everything where it needs to be.

All of the fittings that you will require to attach this wall mount are included with the bracket itself, though be aware you will still need to make the appropriate holes in your wall. The instructions for fitting this unit aren’t the clearest we’ve ever seen, with diagrams that aren’t exactly clear about what goes where. Take your time with the installation, and refer to the image of the assembled bracket on the box to ensure that your bracket is setup in the way that it should be. With the bracket itself attached to the wall, you will need to place your television in place. We strongly recommend that you do not do this alone, as attempting to place your TV in exactly the correct position is difficult and could lead to it breaking, or even causing you injury.

The PLB105M Slim will take TVs from 32 to 55 inches in size, though if your 32 inch television is particularly compact it might make more sense to look for a slightly smaller bracket to prevent any of its edges from showing. VESA 200×200, 400×200, 400×400 and 600×400 standards are all acceptable for use with this unit.
