    Great site. Something you never hear much about when discussing TV wall mounts – and something which I have often wished I knew more about – is what effect/damage they can do, especially the slim ones which mount the TV so close to the wall.

    Most TVs have rear air vents. My Panasonic manual states the TV should be 7cm away from the back wall to provide adequate ventilation. So if I end up mounting it 4cm or less away from the rear wall, what negative effects might there be?
